About Kyra
Kyra Jessen is a Certified Neuroscience Coach, NLP Master Practitioner, and award-winning author based in Hamburg, Germany. As the founder of Elite Mental Mastery, she works at the intersection of psychology, neuroscience, and advanced NLP to help individuals and leadership teams identify and reorganize the inherited belief structures that drive behavior, self-perception, and performance below conscious awareness.
Her approach operates at the root level of identity, not at the level of habits or motivation. She is the author of THE ANTICIPATION PRINCIPLE, recognized with the NYC Big Book Award 2025 as a Distinguished Favorite, and has been featured in Lufthansa's Discover Germany magazine for her work. A second book, focused on shadow work (the psychological process of uncovering and integrating repressed, hidden, or “dark” parts of the subconscious mind), is currently in preparation.
Kyra is available for conversations in English and German.
Talking Angles
Kyra explains what NLP actually does at the level of internal experience, why it targets the structure of a mindset pattern rather than its content, and how shifts made at that level carry into behavior and thinking sustainably.
Kyra unpacks what inherited programming is, how it operates below conscious awareness, and what it takes to examine and reorganize it through structured cognitive recalibration work.
Kyra explains where the failure point sits in most mindset approaches and what it takes to address belief at the level where it actually operates so that the same situations stop generating the same responses.
Drawing on NLP and neuroscience, Kyra explains how the brain encodes beliefs about capability, safety, and worthiness, and why that encoding shapes performance and decision-making before conscious reasoning begins.
How anticipation is a neurological pattern formed through experience that can be examined and updated and what becomes possible when it is.

AWARD-WINNING AUTHOR
Only four months after its release, my debut book, THE ANTICIPATION PRINCIPLE – Becoming The Most Effortless You, was awarded at the NYC BIG BOOK AWARD as Distinguished Favorite 2025 in the category Self-Help: Motivational.
Grounded in psychology, neuroscience, and mindset research, the book explores how belief patterns, expectations, and mental structures shape perception, behavior, and personal outcomes.
It explains how limiting beliefs and unconscious thought patterns influence confidence and decision making, and how these patterns can be released to create clarity, personal growth, and lasting transformation.
The concepts presented in the book are closely connected to the work I use in my 1:1 mindset coaching, where the focus is on restructuring the internal patterns that shape thinking, behavior, and results.
To be recognized in an international competition with submissions from major publishers such as Oxford University Press and Forbes Books highlights the global relevance of this work and its practical impact in the field of mindset and personal development.
